About the Navagraha Stotram
Because it honours all nine planets at once, it is one of the most common daily prayers for planetary peace (graha shanti), and each planet's verse is also recited on its own alongside that planet's beej mantra.
How the Navagraha Stotram is traditionally recited
- Recite the whole stotram once a day, ideally in the morning after a bath.
- On each planet's day, many people also repeat that planet's verse along with its beej mantra.
- It is commonly recited during difficult planetary periods (dashas) and before important beginnings.
