What is Bhagyank? (Bhagyank kya hota hai)

Bhagyank (भाग्यांक) means 'fortune number'. In Vedic numerology it is the single digit you get by adding every digit of your full date of birth. It is also called the destiny, life path or conductor number.

Where Mulank describes your everyday personality, Bhagyank describes the overall direction of your life: the kind of opportunities, lessons and luck that tend to come your way.

How to calculate Bhagyank (Bhagyank kaise nikale)

Write your date of birth as digits (DD MM YYYY), add every digit, and keep adding the digits of the total until one digit from 1 to 9 remains.

For example, for 14 March 1992: 1 + 4 + 0 + 3 + 1 + 9 + 9 + 2 = 29, then 2 + 9 = 11, then 1 + 1 = 2. So the Bhagyank is 2. Bhagyank is always reduced to 1–9; master numbers like 11 are not kept in Vedic numerology.

FAQ

Bhagyank FAQs

What is the meaning of Bhagyank?

Bhagyank means fortune or destiny number. It is calculated from your complete date of birth and describes the direction and luck of your life.

Is Bhagyank the same as life path number?

They are closely related and usually share the same single digit. The Western life path keeps master numbers (11, 22, 33) and reduces day, month and year separately, while Bhagyank always reduces to 1–9.

Which is more important, Mulank or Bhagyank?

Both matter. Mulank shapes your personality and early life, while Bhagyank is often said to become more prominent as you grow older. Most numerologists read them together.

Can I change my Bhagyank?

No. Bhagyank comes from your date of birth and stays the same for life. You can, however, choose names, mobile numbers and dates that are friendly to it.
