What the Big Five measures
The Big Five describes personality with five broad traits: extraversion, agreeableness, conscientiousness, emotional stability and openness, also called imagination. Together they cover how you relate to people, tasks, stress and new ideas.
Each trait is a scale, not a box. Everyone sits somewhere along each one, and both ends have real strengths. A quiet, reserved person and a lively, outgoing one are equally normal.
Where the statements come from
The 50 statements are the IPIP Big-Five Factor Markers from the International Personality Item Pool, a public-domain collection that researchers made free for anyone to use. The English statements are used word for word, and the Hindi versions keep their meaning.
For each statement, you choose how accurately it describes you, from very inaccurate to very accurate. There are no right or wrong answers. Answer as you are now, not as you wish to be.
A trait test, not a type test
This is not MBTI, or any test that sorts people into types. Instead of a four-letter label, you get a position on each of five scales, which captures the in-between places where most people actually are.
Your free result and the full report
When you finish, you see your strongest trait for free, with a short description of what it says about you.
The optional full report shows all five trait scores and what each one means for you: your strengths, things to watch out for, and tips for study, work and relationships. Once enough people have taken the test, it also shows how your scores compare with other takers.
Honest limits
This is a self-report questionnaire for self-reflection. It is not a clinical or diagnostic assessment, and it can't tell you what to study or who to be. Your answers can shift with your mood and situation, so treat the result as a snapshot.

FAQ
Personality test FAQs
Is this personality test free?
Yes. The test and your strongest trait are free, with no sign-up. The full report on all five traits is optional at ₹100 (US$2 outside India), and only adults aged 18 or over can buy it.
How long does the personality test take?
About 8 minutes. There are 50 short statements, and you rate each one on a five-point scale.
Is this the same as MBTI?
No. MBTI sorts people into types, while the Big Five measures five traits on a scale. The Big Five is one of the most widely used models in personality research.
What are the Big Five personality traits?
Extraversion, agreeableness, conscientiousness, emotional stability and openness (imagination). Together they describe how you deal with people, tasks, stress and new ideas.
Is a low score on a trait bad?
No. Each trait has strengths at both ends. A low extraversion score, for example, often goes with focus, calm and being a good listener.
Can my results change over time?
Yes, a little. Personality is fairly stable, but your answers can shift with mood, stress and stage of life, and many people find their scores drift slowly over the years.
Is this a mental health test?
No. It is not a clinical or diagnostic tool. If you are going through a hard time, please talk to someone you trust or a professional.
