In North India, Hanuman Jayanti is kept on Chaitra Purnima. Hanuman is believed to have been born at sunrise, so the celebrations begin at dawn, with puja, the Hanuman Chalisa and the Sundar Kand in temples from early morning.
Hanuman Jayanti falls on the day Purnima is current at sunrise. Some regions keep it on other days: Tamil Nadu on Margashirsha Amavasya, and Andhra Pradesh and Telangana on Vaishakha Krishna Dashami.
Times for Indian cities are Indian Standard Time; times abroad are local time. They match established panchangs to within a minute or two. For a city not listed, the nearest city is usually within a few minutes.
